Happy Valentine's Day!

Normally I wouldn't do a Valentine's Day post--normally I don't have anything to share on this very romantic holiday.  But this year was different.  This year Valentine's Day held all sorts of promise.  Because this year, my little brother is SINGLE!

Now, in order to understand what this means, it is important to know that Josh is incredibly sweet, incredibly romantic, incredibly gentlemanly, and I'm pretty sure that gifts is his love language.  (If you don't know what that means, read The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman.  It's worth it.)  It is also important to know that he just got a good job a few months ago.  I may have also dropped a few hints that Valentine's gifts for your single sisters is a GREAT idea--which isn't incredibly important, but I do think it's fair that you know.

Here is what we woke up to:

This doesn't do it justice though because from that far away you can't see all the details in each handmade flower, the decorated name tags, or what we actually got.  So, here are the close-ups:

This is Kim's.  Josh knew he wouldn't fully appreciate the flowers!
There's more!  (I know right?)  Each of the girls' vases was specially chosen.  Mom's is something she could use (an oil flask), Lauren's is a pretty glass she can use to drink from or as a vase (but not at the same time :P), and mine is a cruet that was chosen just because it is pretty.

It's okay, you can say it...

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Did I mention he's single?  Really.
